Central Playground – Wooden – Linear Park

If you’re cycling through Linear Park, this is a solid place to stop and let the kids burn off some energy. The wooden climbing structure gets a good workout from the 8–13 crowd, and the zipline is usually the main attraction — there’s often a queue for it on weekends. Benches mean you can actually sit down while they play, which is more than you get at some spots around Reading. The bike track makes it a natural fit if you’ve ridden over, and the whole area stays pretty quiet compared to the busier parks closer to the town centre.
