Claregate Playground

If you’re after somewhere in Wolverhampton to kick a ball about or just walk off your lunch, Claregate does the job nicely. There’s a proper soccer field and basketball court for when you want something more structured, plus enough open grass to just do your own thing. The walking path is a decent loop, and the shade trees actually make it bearable on the rare occasions the sun shows up. Benches dotted around mean you can sit and watch the world go by without having to head home. It’s nothing flashy, but locals know it’s a reliable spot for getting outside.
