West Park Playground

Honestly, West Park is one of those places where you can easily spend a full afternoon without running out of things to do. The playground itself has decent variety for different ages, and the open grass field means kids who want to just run riot have plenty of space for that too. What sets it apart from your average urban park is the lake nearby — you end up doing a lap of the water without really planning to, and it never gets old. Restrooms, picnic tables, shade trees — the basics are all sorted, which matters more than people give credit for. Parking’s available too, so it’s genuinely easy to get to with the whole family in tow.
