Crossmichael Playground

Small but genuinely useful if you’re in the Crossmichael area and need somewhere for the kids to burn off some energy. It sits in the Templand part of the village, which keeps things pretty quiet — this isn’t somewhere you’d travel across the region for, but locals will know it does the job. The marina and a few shops are close by, so it fits well into a wander around that end of Castle Douglas. Worth knowing it’s not wheelchair accessible, so plan accordingly.
