Right by the lake in Motherwell, this spot is one of those places locals quietly keep to themselves. The BBQ area makes it a go-to for family days out — bring your own food, grab a bench, and actually relax while the kids run around on the playground. The lake views do a lot of the heavy lifting here; there’s something genuinely calming about this place that you don’t always find at busier parks. Parking’s free and easy, so it’s no hassle to just show up and make a proper afternoon of it.
