Tucked into the Temescal neighborhood, this fenced playground is a solid spot for the toddler-and-under-5 crowd — the rubberized surfacing and enclosed layout mean you’re not constantly chasing kids toward traffic. You’ve got your basics covered: slides, swings, a climbing structure, and a merry-go-round that the little ones go absolutely nuts for. Benches are positioned well so parents can actually keep an eye on things without hovering. There’s a basketball court on site if older kids or adults need something to do, and the creek and pond nearby give the whole area a bit of a breather from the urban surroundings. Fair warning though — shade is basically nonexistent, so come early on hot days or bring a hat.
