Right along the Fox River in downtown Oswego, this park is a solid go-to for families with little ones in the 3-7 range. The water mister is a lifesaver on hot days, and the shaded seating means parents aren’t melting while the kids do their thing. Grab one of the picnic tables, fire up a grill, and you’ve got a proper afternoon sorted. The walking and bike paths are well-kept and connect nicely to the trails nearby, and honestly the river views don’t get old. Being a two-minute walk from downtown restaurants doesn’t hurt either — easy to extend the day without much effort.
