Jaycee Park

One of those spots that actually lives up to the hype — Jaycee Park is clean, quiet, and genuinely well-suited for the little kids crowd (think 2 to 8, not older). The soft surface underfoot is a nice touch, especially if you’ve dealt with scraped knees on rubber mulch at other parks. There’s solid shade coverage and enough benches and picnic tables that you’re not fighting another family for somewhere to sit. Parents can keep eyes on the kids without constantly repositioning, which counts for a lot. With a pond nearby and a walking path looping through, it’s easy to stretch the visit out a bit longer than planned.
