Pearce’s Ford Park

If you’ve got a toddler, this little spot in Oswego is worth bookmarking. The climbing structure and swings are sized just right for the under-5 crowd, and the soft ground underneath means you’re not holding your breath every time someone takes a tumble. Shade trees do a solid job of keeping things cool, so you’re not melting on a bench while the kids play. There’s a bike track and walking path nearby if you want to make a longer outing of it, plus a pond area that older siblings tend to gravitate toward. Parking is easy, picnic tables are right there, and it’s close enough to some decent trails that you can tack on a short walk before heading home.
