Kiwanis Park

This is one of those parks the locals know about but nobody really talks up enough. The playground hits a sweet spot for the 3-10 crowd — there’s a solid climbing structure, tunnels to disappear into, and a sandbox that actually gets some use. Slides, shade trees, and a BBQ area make it an easy full-afternoon spot, especially when you grab one of the shaded picnic tables before the lunch crowd does. The bike track and walking path keep older kids busy while the little ones dig around in the sand, and the whole thing backs up near trails if you want to stretch the trip out a bit. It’s quiet, it’s neighborhood-y, and it doesn’t feel like every other cookie-cutter park in the area.
