Wetherby Park

Wetherby is one of those parks that actually has enough going on to keep everyone occupied without anyone complaining. The splash pad is the big draw in summer — little kids go absolutely feral for it, and there’s plenty of shaded seating nearby so you’re not just standing in the sun watching them. The playground itself is solid for the under-10 crowd, with a good climbing structure, swings, and a merry-go-round that you don’t see at every park anymore. When the kids need a break, you’ve got basketball courts, a soccer field, a bike track, and walking paths, so there’s genuinely no excuse to be bored. Restrooms, picnic tables, and parking make it easy enough that you can just show up and not have to plan around anything.
