Ringer Park

If you live in Allston-Brighton and somehow haven’t made Ringer Park part of your regular rotation, you’re missing out. The hilly terrain gives it a character that flat city parks just don’t have, and the wooded paths along the Urban Wild section genuinely make you forget you’re in Boston for a minute. Basketball courts and a big open grass field keep it busy on weekends — this is very much a neighborhood spot where people actually hang out, not just pass through. The shade trees do real work on hot days, and the walking path is a solid loop if you’re not trying to drive somewhere just to take a walk.
