Albemarle Playground

Locals know Albemarle is one of the better-equipped spots in Newton — you’ve got slides, swings, and a solid climbing structure for the little ones, but the real draw is everything else spread around it. There’s a basketball court, soccer field, bike track, and a walking path, so older kids and adults actually have something to do while the toddlers run themselves ragged on the play equipment. The open grass field gives everyone room to spread out without feeling on top of each other. Parking is genuinely easy here, which sounds like a small thing until you’ve circled a street for 20 minutes at another playground on a Saturday morning.
