Weeks Park

If you live in this part of Newton, you already know Weeks Park is basically the neighborhood’s backyard. It’s the kind of spot where you can kick a soccer ball around on the grass, let the dog run loose, and not feel like you’re fighting for space. The tennis courts are a nice bonus if you’re into that. For the little ones, there’s a small playground that works well for toddlers and preschool-age kids — nothing elaborate, but it gets the job done. Honestly, it’s more of a grab-your-coffee-and-let-the-kids-loose kind of park than a destination, which is exactly what makes it work.
