Augsburg Adventure Park

Honestly one of the better playgrounds in Minneapolis if you’ve got kids under 12 — the zipline alone makes it worth the trip. The whole play area is fully fenced, which is a huge deal if you’ve got a runner, and there’s enough shade that you can actually sit comfortably without baking in July. Slides, climbing structures, picnic tables, restrooms — it’s all here, and spread out enough that it doesn’t feel cramped even on a busy afternoon. It sits in a pretty quiet neighborhood, so it has more of a hidden gem feel than the bigger city parks. Pack a lunch and stay a while.
