William Berry Playground

Locals know this one is worth the trip just for the Lake Harriet views alone, but the playground itself more than holds up. The equipment is genuinely accessible, which you don’t always find at parks this size, and there’s plenty of space so it never feels cramped even on busy weekends. Pack a lunch — the picnic tables actually get used here, and with restrooms and parking on-site, you’re not scrambling for the basics. Good for the 2-12 crowd, though the younger kids especially seem to love it.
