Standing Bear Playground

If you’ve got a toddler and haven’t made it out to Standing Bear yet, put it on your list. The play setup here leans into natural elements — stumps, rocks, a hollow boulder, rope features — rather than the usual plastic tower situation, and honestly it works really well for the under-6 crowd. Slides, swings, and a climbing structure round things out without overwhelming little kids. The lake views are legitimately pretty, and the whole place has a slower, quieter feel than most spots around Omaha. Grab a picnic table and plan to stay a while.
