Ridgefield Park Splash Pad

Honestly, Ridgefield Park Splash Pad had a good run — families from all over Albany used to bring their kids here, and for a while it was one of the better spots in the area for keeping both toddlers and older kids happy at the same time. People who grew up coming here still talk about it. The upkeep started slipping over the years though, and the facility eventually came down, which was a real shame for the neighborhood. If you’re heading out specifically for this one, do yourself a favor and call ahead or check with the city first — what’s there now may not be what you’re expecting.
