Pirates Den Park

Right in the quieter part of downtown Swansboro, this little park punches above its weight for families with kids under 12. The fully enclosed play area is a real selling point — you’re not chasing anyone into a parking lot. Shaded seating and benches mean parents can actually sit down and breathe, and the picnic tables make it easy to turn a playground trip into a proper afternoon out. Restrooms on-site, decent parking, and a grassy open field round it out nicely.
