Grace Park

There’s more history packed into this little urban park than most people realize — the land here was donated by a freed slave, and that alone makes it worth knowing about. Restoration efforts for a statue honoring that legacy have been in the works, so it’s a spot that the community genuinely cares about. On any given day you’ll find people gathered here for outreach events and ministry work that serves folks who really need it. The shade trees and benches make it comfortable enough to stick around, and the open grass field gives groups room to spread out.
