Freedom Trail Park Playground

If you’ve got older kids who are obsessed with slides, this one’s worth the trip. Freedom Trail Park has a newer design with a solid variety of slides that school-age children actually get excited about, which isn’t something you can say about every park in the Yukon area. Fair warning though — if you’re coming with toddlers, you might be disappointed, since this place is clearly built with bigger kids in mind. There’s an open grass field that gives everyone room to spread out, and the outdoor setting makes it a genuinely pleasant place to hang around while the kids do their thing.
