Ranchwood Park Playground

If you want somewhere low-key where the kids can actually run without you hovering the whole time, this little park in Yukon delivers. The rubber surfacing is a nice touch — way easier on toddlers who are still figuring out the whole balance thing. Big shade trees mean you’re not baking on a bench in July, and there are restrooms on site, which, honestly, makes or breaks a park trip with little ones. The open grass and soccer goals give older kids plenty of room to burn energy while the younger ones do their thing on the equipment. Oh, and there are cows in a nearby field — the kids lose their minds over it every single time.
