Bitter Lake Playfield

The renovation here was genuinely worth the wait — this place now has one of the better equipped playgrounds on the north end, with a zipline, merry-go-round, climbing structure, and separate setups for the little ones and older kids. The sandbox and water feature keep younger toddlers happy while bigger kids burn energy on everything else. It’s a quiet neighborhood park but it draws families from all over Greenwood and Haller Lake because there’s just so much to do in one spot. After the playground, you’ve got open grass, a walking path, and actual views of the lake if you want to stretch the trip out. Parking and restrooms on-site make it an easy full-afternoon kind of stop.
