Cap Hill locals basically treat this place as their backyard, and honestly it earns that reputation. The playground is on the smaller side — slides, swings, a seesaw — but it gets heavy use and the water feature gives kids something to mess around with on warm days. Beyond the playground, there’s a proper soccer field and basketball court if you came to actually move, plus a walking path that loops through nicely when you just need to decompress. Restrooms and picnic tables mean you can actually stay a while without planning around it. It’s a real neighborhood park doing a lot of work for a dense part of the city.
