St Margaret’s Park

The flying fox is honestly the main event here — kids absolutely lose their minds for it, and there’s usually a queue on a decent Edinburgh afternoon. It’s a solid wee park for younger ones, with swings and slides keeping them busy while you grab a bench under the shade trees. The football pitches and open grass mean older siblings or parents can kick a ball about without getting in anyone’s way. It’s one of those quieter neighbourhood spots that doesn’t feel overrun, which makes a real difference when you’re trying to actually relax.
