If you’ve got kids spread across different ages, this Urbandale park is worth putting in the rotation. The rubberized surfacing is genuinely good — soft enough that you’re not holding your breath every time a kid takes a tumble off the climbing structure. There are slides and swings alongside the bigger equipment, so even the little ones in the 2-3 range aren’t just standing around watching. When the older kids get restless, the basketball court and soccer field give them somewhere to burn it off. Grab a bench and settle in — you’ll probably be here a while.
