A solid little neighbourhood spot that does exactly what it needs to for the toddler crowd. The swings are always a hit with the younger kids, and the monkey bars are pitched at a sensible height — nothing that’s going to have parents hovering anxiously. A few good shade trees mean you’re not standing around squinting in the Canterbury sun while the kids do their thing. Nothing flashy, but honestly that’s fine — Rolleston has plenty of these quieter local parks and this one earns its place on Maltby Drive.
