Lanchester Park Playground

The blue climbing structure here is genuinely one of the better ones in this part of Birmingham — solid, chunky, and actually challenging enough that kids aged 3 to 11 get properly worn out on it. You’ve got your slides and swings doing what they do, but the real draw is the combination of the skate park and the massive field alongside the play area, which means older and younger kids can all find something to get stuck into. It’s the kind of park where you can kick a ball around, let the little ones loose on the equipment, and not have to constantly referee between age groups. Gets busy on weekends but there’s enough space that it rarely feels cramped.
