Cully Playground

One of the better playgrounds on Portland’s east side, Cully delivers a solid mix of equipment — slides, swings, a climbing structure, and a sandbox with a water feature that kids absolutely demolish on warm days. The mountain views from here are genuinely good, which makes it easy to hang out longer than you planned. There’s real shade, actual restrooms, and enough picnic tables that you’re not fighting strangers for a spot. The bike track and soccer field mean older kids (and honestly some adults) stay busy while the little ones do their thing. It’s well-kept, has parking, and backs up near trails — hard to beat for a full afternoon out with kids in the 2-12 range.
