If you haven’t taken your kids to Marshall Park yet, you’re missing out on one of the better-kept secrets in Portland. The artificial grass hill alone is worth the trip — kids will slide down that thing until your arms give out from carrying them back up. There’s also a water and sand play area that younger ones absolutely lose their minds over, and the whole setup is genuinely accessible, not just technically compliant. Older kids and teens aren’t left out either, with a skate park on site to keep them busy while the little ones do their thing.
