The lake nearby gives the whole place a relaxed vibe that’s hard to find in a city park. Shade trees and picnic tables mean you can actually stay for a few hours without regretting it, and the restrooms are a genuine lifesaver when you’ve got a two-year-old. The open grass field gets used hard on weekends, so come early if you want space. Honestly one of the more well-rounded parks in this part of Seattle for families with kids across a wide age range.
