The Lough Playground

Right beside the Lough itself, this little playground is one of those spots Cork locals genuinely treasure — and somehow it never feels overrun. The water feature keeps younger kids entertained while parents grab a bench and actually decompress for five minutes. Swans and ducks wander close enough that kids lose their minds with excitement, and the walking path around the lake is flat and easy for small legs. Bring a picnic, some bread for the birds, and expect to stay longer than you planned.
