If you’re after somewhere the kids can run wild without the chaos of a busy park, Glanworth is worth the trip. The play train tends to be the first thing little ones make a beeline for, but there’s plenty to keep them busy between the climbing structure, slides, and swings. It’s got a proper natural feel to it — nothing too sterile or plastic — and whoever maintains it clearly takes pride in keeping it tidy. The enclosed area is a real plus if you’ve got younger ones you don’t want wandering, and parents can actually see everything from one spot. Parking on-site and a walking path around the open grass field rounds it out nicely for a longer visit.
