If you’re anywhere near Ballincollig, this park is honestly one of the best days out you can have without spending a penny. The playground has the usual slides, swings, and climbing structure, but it’s kept in genuinely good condition — no broken bits, no overgrown mess. Families tend to stay for hours because once the kids are done playing, there’s a bike track, basketball court, soccer field, and proper walking trails through the forest to keep everyone moving. Pack a picnic, grab one of the tables, and you’re sorted. Parking and toilets on site mean you’re not scrambling for either.
