Still pretty new, so everything’s in good nick — no broken bits, no graffiti, all the equipment actually works the way it should. Kids get slides, swings, climbing frames and tunnels, which covers most bases whether you’ve got a toddler or an eight-year-old who thinks they’re too cool for playgrounds (they’re not). The whole thing is fenced in, which makes a big difference when you’ve got a runner, and there are benches and picnic tables if you want to sit and pretend you’re relaxing. Parking is handy enough too. Only real gripe locals have is the lack of bathrooms — just know that going in and plan accordingly.
