Toddlers’ Playground

Genuinely one of those spots you only hear about from other parents — it’s not well signposted and you’ll probably get lost the first time, fair warning. Once you find it though, it’s worth the effort, with a toddler-friendly setup tucked right alongside forest trails and lovely natural landscaping that doesn’t feel like your typical council playground. There’s a café on-site which, honestly, seals the deal for most parents who need a proper coffee to survive the outing. The petting zoo next door is hit or miss depending on the day — sometimes there’s loads going on, other times it’s a bit quiet — but the kids don’t seem to mind either way.
