Baden Powell Playground

Solid local spot for kids between about 2 and 12 — the equipment mix actually works across that whole age range, which isn’t something you can say about every playground in Colchester. There’s a decent climbing structure, swings for the little ones and older kids alike, and a twirly slide that tends to go down well. The open grass field alongside it is genuinely generous in size, good for a kickabout or just letting younger ones roam without worrying too much. Nothing flashy, but it does the job on a weekend afternoon.
