The zipline alone is worth the trip — kids absolutely lose their minds for it, and there’s usually a queue. Beyond that, you’ve got a solid climbing structure, swings, slides, and a bike track that keeps older ones busy long after the younger kids have worn themselves out on the main equipment. The whole area is enclosed, so parents can actually sit down at the picnic tables without doing constant headcounts. It’s well looked after too, which isn’t something you can say about every playground in the Colchester area. Chuck in a cafe nearby and honestly it’s one of the better ways to burn a few hours with kids of pretty much any age.
