If you haven’t made the trip up to Dolores Park for this one, you’re missing out. The panoramic views of the city alone are worth it, but the playground itself pulls its weight too — there’s a serious climbing structure with rope elements and those chunky fake boulders kids absolutely lose their minds over, plus a proper big slide and swings. The nature-themed design keeps it from feeling like your average concrete slab, and the rubberized turf gives little ones a softer landing. Picnic tables mean you can actually sit down and eat instead of chasing snacks across the grass, and there’s open field space when everyone needs to just run. It’s well-kept, handles a crowd without feeling cramped, and works for a pretty wide age range — toddlers through older kids all seem to find something here.
