Faubion Playground

If you’ve got a kid who burns through energy like it’s their job, this Northeast Portland playground is going to be a regular stop. The ziplines are the obvious draw — two of them — but the maze of steel poles keeps older kids busy in a way you don’t see at most spots around the city. The astroturf surface is a real plus if you’re dealing with a stroller or mobility aids, and the covered basketball court means the sports crowd doesn’t have to bail when the weather turns. Plenty of shaded seating for parents, good sightlines throughout, and enough open grass to let the younger ones just run laps while the big kids do their thing.
